Why your Cambodia eVisa does not replace the e-Arrival Card

For New Zealanders heading to Southeast Asia, sorting the Cambodia eVisa online a few weeks before departure is the familiar part of trip planning. What catches many Kiwis off guard at Auckland Airport (AKL) or during a transit stop in Singapore or Kuala Lumpur is that Cambodia also requires a separate digital declaration called the Cambodia e-Arrival Card (CeA).

The e-Arrival Card is not a visa. Your eVisa ($80 USD Tourist or $90 USD Business through our service) grants you permission to enter Cambodia, whereas the e-Arrival Card records the specifics of your arrival—your flight number, port of entry, hotel, onward travel date, health answers, and customs declaration—and turns them into a QR code.

Timing the 7-day window when flying from Auckland, Wellington, or Christchurch

The Cambodia e-Arrival Card can only be submitted within the 7 days before your arrival date in Cambodia. Because New Zealand (NZST/NZDT) sits 5 to 6 hours ahead of Cambodia (ICT, UTC+7), and because many Kiwis stop over in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Australia, or Thailand on the way, always count your 7-day window from the calendar date your flight actually touches down in Cambodia.

What information New Zealanders need to provide (including 2026 onward fields)

To complete the Cambodia e-Arrival Card without errors, have your New Zealand passport and your flight confirmation in front of you:

• New Zealand passport details: Full name exactly as printed on your bio page, passport number, date of birth, sex, and passport expiry date (must be valid 6+ months beyond entry).
• Arrival details: Your arrival date, port of entry (KTI, SAI, or KOS), and the flight number of the aircraft landing in Cambodia.
