Cambodia e-Arrival Form — Complete Guide

The Cambodia e-Arrival form replaced the old paper arrival card in 2024. Here is exactly what it is, when to fill it, and what immigration expects to see.

Key Takeaways

  • The e-Arrival form is mandatory and digital — the paper arrival card is gone.
  • Submit it within 7 days before arrival, not earlier. You will get a QR code by email.
  • It is separate from your eVisa. You need both: eVisa to enter, e-Arrival to be logged in.
  • Save the QR code offline. Airport wifi at the immigration queue is unreliable.

What the e-Arrival form is

The e-Arrival form is the digital replacement for the paper arrival card every traveller used to fill on the plane. It collects your passport details, flight number, accommodation address in Cambodia, and a short customs and health declaration.

It is separate from your visa. The visa gets you the right to enter; the e-Arrival is how Cambodian immigration logs your arrival.

When to submit it

Submit the e-Arrival form within seven days before your arrival in Cambodia. Submitting earlier than that will be rejected and ask you to come back closer to your trip.

Save the QR code

You will get a QR code by email after submitting. Save it to your phone — immigration scans it on arrival. Take a screenshot in case the email loads slowly.

What you need to fill it

  • Your passport (number, expiry, nationality).
  • Your inbound flight number and arrival date.
  • The address of your first night in Cambodia — a hotel name and street address is enough.
  • A working email to receive the QR code.

Common mistakes

Avoid these

These are the three issues we see most often from travellers who get bounced back from the kiosk.

  • Filling the form more than 7 days ahead — the system will reject it.
  • Mismatching passport details (a single typo in the passport number can require a re-submission at the immigration counter).
  • Forgetting to save the QR code offline.

How it fits with your eVisa

Your eVisa and the e-Arrival are two separate steps. Apply for the eVisa first — we deliver the approved PDF by email within 3 business days. Then, in the week before your flight, complete the e-Arrival form and save the QR code.

On arrival you will show two things at immigration: a printed copy of your eVisa, and the e-Arrival QR code on your phone.
