What you need in front of you when you file

• Your US passport, open to the bio page — name, passport number, nationality, date of birth, and sex are copied straight off it, character for character.

• The name and city of where you are staying — a hotel or guesthouse name and city is enough, with no booking reference or confirmation PDF required.

Once those three are in front of you the card takes a few minutes. Submit it, and the system returns a confirmation with a QR code. Save that QR code offline — screenshot it, and ideally print it too — so you are not depending on airport Wi-Fi or a charged phone when you reach the arrivals kiosk. Why filing at the airport is the riskiest choice

Technically you can fill the card out on your phone in the arrivals hall at Techo International before you reach the kiosk.
