Do Filipino Citizens Need the Cambodia e-Arrival Card in 2026? Visa-Free Entry Guide

Why visa-free entry for Filipinos does not replace the Cambodia e-Arrival Card

Under the ASEAN reciprocal visa-exemption agreement, citizens of the Philippines holding an ordinary maroon Philippine passport can visit Cambodia without a tourist visa for up to 30 days per entry. Because no visa is required for a short holiday, many Filipino travellers arriving at Manila NAIA (MNL), Clark (CRK), or Cebu (CEB) assume they can simply show their passport and boarding pass and fly.

Since 2024, that is no longer the case. Cambodia replaced the paper immigration arrival card, health form, and customs declaration with the mandatory online Cambodia e-Arrival Card (CeA). Because the e-Arrival Card is an arrival declaration rather than a visa, the ASEAN visa exemption does not waive it. Every Filipino passenger flying into Cambodia must complete the e-Arrival Card within the 7 days before landing and present its QR code at Cambodian Immigration.

You can check the full ASEAN exemption details on our Cambodia visa page for Filipino citizens, or read our general guide to the Cambodia e-Arrival Card for visa-exempt travellers.

When and how Filipino travellers complete the Cambodia e-Arrival Card

Because Filipino tourists do not need a tourist visa for stays up to 30 days, the Cambodia e-Arrival Card is the single most important Cambodian document you must prepare before your flight—alongside your Philippine eTravel exit registration for departing Manila, Clark, or Cebu.

What if you are already travelling around Southeast Asia and have not finalised your onward ticket out of Cambodia yet? If you file with us and have not booked onward travel yet, our form lets you say “not booked yet” and we email you to add it later.

How we file the Cambodia e-Arrival Card for Filipino travellers

Every traveller in a Filipino family, barkada, or tour group requires their own individual Cambodia e-Arrival Card tied to their own Philippine passport number. We file a card for every traveller in a party, babies included, because each one travels on their own passport.
