তেচো আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দর (KTI) ফনম পেন: ২০২৬ আগমন এবং ভিসা গাইড

If you are booking flights to Cambodia’s capital in 2026 and notice your boarding pass lists IATA code KTI instead of PNH, that is completely normal. In September 2025, Cambodia permanently transferred all scheduled commercial passenger flights from the legacy Pochentong site — formerly Phnom Penh International Airport (PNH) — to the brand-new Techo International Airport (KTI), located in Kandal Stueng District across the Kandal–Takeo border south of the capital.

Designed by Foster + Partners as a 4F-class international hub capable of handling long-haul widebody aircraft, Techo International Airport (KTI) was built from the ground up around Cambodia’s paperless border control workflow. If you are deciding whether to fly into Phnom Penh first or land directly near the temples of Angkor, read our Techo Airport (KTI) vs Siem Reap Airport (SAI) comparison.

Airlines flying into KTI — including Singapore Airlines, Qatar Airways, Emirates, Cathay Pacific, Thai Airways, Bangkok Airways, Malaysia Airlines, and Cambodia Airways — verify your entry eligibility at your departure gate before allowing you to board. Arriving at check-in without the right paperwork can delay your boarding or force you into long queues upon landing.

First, every foreign national arriving at KTI by air must complete the Cambodia e-Arrival Card within the seven calendar days leading up to arrival. This digital declaration replaces the old paper immigration, health, and customs slips that cabin crew used to hand out mid-flight.

Second, unless you hold one of the visa-exempt ASEAN passports, you need a valid Cambodian visa. Most travellers apply online in advance for a Cambodia Tourist eVisa ({{USD:79}} all-inclusive) or an Ordinary / Business Class E eVisa ({{USD:89}} all-inclusive) so they can walk straight past the cash-only Visa on Arrival hall at KTI. See our Cambodia eVisa vs Visa on Arrival comparison for a full breakdown of airport queue times and cash rules.

• Passport validity: At least 6 months remaining beyond your planned arrival date at KTI, plus at least one to two blank pages.
• Cambodia eVisa certificate: Printed on A4 paper (recommended) and saved as a PDF on your smartphone, showing Techo International Airport (KTI) or general air entry eligibility.
• Cambodia e-Arrival Card (CeA) QR code: Completed within 7 days of your flight ({{USD:29}} via our guided filing service), with your live flight number and first-night Phnom Penh hotel address.
