Yes. Ordinary South Korean passport holders are not visa-exempt for Cambodia and require both a valid visa and the online Cambodia e-Arrival Card in 2026. Here is everything travellers flying from Seoul Incheon (ICN) or Busan (PUS) to Phnom Penh (KTI) or Siem Reap (SAI) need to prepare.

Yes. Ordinary South Korean passport holders are not visa-exempt for Cambodia and must obtain a visa—such as the $80 USD Tourist eVisa or $90 USD Business eVisa—and file the online Cambodia e-Arrival Card within 7 days before landing at Techo International (KTI), Siem Reap Angkor (SAI), or Sihanoukville (KOS).
Because the Republic of Korea passport enters Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines visa-free for short visits, many Korean travellers assume Cambodia is visa-free too. It is not. Only South Korean diplomatic and official passports are exempt; every ordinary South Korean passport holder (blue next-generation biometric cover or legacy green cover) requires a visa to enter Cambodia.
On top of your visa, Cambodia requires a second online document for every passenger arriving by air: the Cambodia e-Arrival Card (CeA). Since 2024, this digital declaration has replaced the three paper forms (immigration, health, and customs) that cabin crew used to hand out on flights from Incheon or Busan. You submit it within the 7 days before landing and present its QR code at Immigration.
You can check the full country summary on our Cambodia visa page for South Korean citizens, or read below to see how the eVisa and e-Arrival Card work for direct and connecting flights from Korea.
Although the Royal Embassy of Cambodia is located on Sejong-daero in Jung-gu, Seoul, Korean tourists and business travellers do not need to visit the embassy in person or post their physical passport. The electronic visa (eVisa) is completed online in minutes and delivered by email.
The Type T Tourist eVisa covers Angkor Wat tours, golf holidays in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh, family visits, and coastal trips to Sihanoukville and Koh Rong. It is valid for 90 days from the date of issue and grants a single-entry stay of up to 30 days. Through our service, the Tourist eVisa costs $80 USD, is approved in 3–5 days, and requires no passport photo.
South Korea is one of Cambodia’s largest foreign investors across banking, construction, textiles, and technology. If you are travelling for commercial meetings, project supervision, or a longer stay that you plan to extend locally in Cambodia, select the Type E Business eVisa. It costs $90 USD through our service, is approved in 3–5 days with no photo required, and provides an initial 30-day stay.
Evening flights from Seoul Incheon (ICN) to Phnom Penh (KTI) on Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, and Sky Angkor Airlines land late at night when the airport Visa on Arrival counter queues are longest. Visa on Arrival also requires exact, crisp US dollar bills (Korean won and Korean credit cards are not accepted at the cash counter). With an approved eVisa in hand, you skip the visa desk and walk straight to Immigration.

Even when you hold an approved Cambodia eVisa (or a multi-entry Type E business visa extension), you must still file the Cambodia e-Arrival Card within the 7 days before every flight into Cambodia. The eVisa is your permission to enter; the e-Arrival Card is your arrival, health, and customs declaration.
New in 2026, the e-Arrival form asks for your departure date from Cambodia and your next destination, in addition to your passport details, flight number, and Cambodian hotel address. If you file with us and have not booked onward travel yet, our form lets you say “not booked yet” and we email you to add it later.
When you book your Cambodia arrival card through our service, you can submit your details whenever you book your flight from Korea—even weeks before the 7-day window opens. We hold your application, check every detail against your Korean passport, submit inside the window, and email your QR code. Prices per traveller in USD are $20 Standard (within 24 hours), $35 Rush (within 2 hours), and $60 Super Rush (within 15 minutes), with no photo required.
