Angkor Wat, Siem Reap
The world's largest religious monument and Cambodia's most iconic site. Most visitors base themselves in Siem Reap for 2–3 days to explore the temple complex at sunrise.

Step 3
Print two paper copies before boarding Korean Air or Asiana to Phnom Penh, and keep the QR-coded approval visible at immigration.

The Tourist eVisa is the right choice for most South Korean travellers visiting Cambodia. It covers sightseeing in Siem Reap, beach time in the Koh Rong islands, visiting Angkor Wat, and staying with family or friends — anything that isn't paid work or formal business activity.
The approved Cambodia e-Visa entry points cover every international airport and the major land borders — except where noted below.
Korean travellers benefit from direct Incheon-Phnom Penh service on Korean Air and Asiana, making short-break Angkor itineraries and Sihanoukville add-ons especially practical. Cambodia is a popular winter-warmth destination for Korean travellers, and Siem Reap's temple complex pairs well with city-break stays in Phnom Penh's riverside district.

The complete picture of the Cambodia tourist visa and Cambodia e-Visa for South Korean citizens: fees, processing time, requirements, and what actually happens at the border.
Ordinary South Korean passport holders still need a Cambodia visa, and the online visa (electronic visa) is the simplest path for tourism. A common misconception is that a Cambodia-Korea diplomatic exemption covers everyone — it does not. Only diplomatic and official passports are exempt, so regular tourists must obtain the Type T eVisa before flying Incheon to Phnom Penh direct.
Cambodia tourist visa $80, Cambodia business visa $90 — both prices are all-inclusive. Upload your passport bio page and a photo, fill in a few details, and your electronic visa lands in your inbox before you fly.
What you don't need:
Once approved, your eVisa allows a 30-day single entry stay within 3 months of the issue date. Need longer? Extend at any local immigration office in Cambodia before your 30 days run out.
Cambodia dropped the government processing fee from $36 to $30 in January 2025 — make sure any quotes you compare reflect the current price. South Korean diplomatic and official passport holders are exempt for 90 days — but ordinary South Korean passport holders still need an eVisa. The Cambodian Embassy in Seoul (Sejong-daero 55) handles in-person South Korean applications — though most pick the online e-Visa for the 3-business-day turnaround. Direct flights from Incheon (ICN) to Phnom Penh (PNH) make eVisa-only entry the smoothest option for South Korean travellers.
No hotel booking. No flight ticket. No bank statement. Just your passport.
