Your visa—usually the $80 USD Tourist eVisa (Type T) or $90 USD Business eVisa (Type E)—is your legal authorisation to enter Cambodia. The Cambodia e-Arrival Card is your mandatory arrival declaration covering immigration, health, and customs. Even if you hold an approved single-entry eVisa or a long-term multi-entry business visa in your Japanese passport, you must file a fresh e-Arrival Card within the 7 days before every air arrival into Cambodia.

Most travellers departing Tokyo Haneda (HND), Tokyo Narita (NRT), Osaka Kansai (KIX), Nagoya (NGO), or Fukuoka (FUK) reach Cambodia via a regional Asian hub. Always enter the flight number of the second leg—the aircraft that actually touches down at KTI, SAI, or KOS:

Keep in mind two major 2026 border facts. First, Phnom Penh’s airport is now Techo International Airport (KTI), which replaced the old PNH airport on 9 September 2025. Second, all Thailand–Cambodia land border crossings have been closed since 2025—so if you are visiting Bangkok before Angkor Wat, you must fly from Bangkok into SAI or KTI rather than taking a bus or train to Poipet.
