Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay — all accepted. The charge is in USD, the AUD equivalent is shown at checkout and on your statement. If your card declines, the #1 fix is a five-minute call to your bank's 24/7 line. Here is the full Aussie playbook.

How do Australians pay for the Cambodia eVisa, and what to do if a card is declined?
Pay with any Australian Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay at checkout. We charge in USD — $80 USD (~$122 AUD) for the Tourist eVisa, $90 USD (~$137 AUD) for the Business — and your bank converts to AUD at the day rate, shown on both the receipt and your statement. If your card is declined, the #1 fix is calling your bank's 24/7 line and asking them to authorise international online transactions; the #2 fix is responding to the fraud-check SMS your bank just sent you. Both clear in under five minutes. There's no extra fee from us if you retry.

Charged in USD with the live AUD equivalent shown side-by-side at checkout — most Aussie bank statements display the AUD-converted amount.
Your bank converts at the day rate; the AUD figure on your statement matches what you saw at checkout (give or take a cent).
Decline reason #1 is the card not being authorised for international online transactions — fixed by a 5-minute call to your bank's 24/7 line.
Decline reason #2 is a bank fraud-flag on the foreign USD charge — fixed by responding to the SMS or email and retrying.

When your card is declined: the 5 reasons and the exact fixes
What payment methods do you accept for the Cambodia eVisa?
Six methods: Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Debit or credit, personal or corporate, every major Australian-issued card is accepted. The AUD equivalent is displayed alongside the USD price at checkout, so you know exactly what your bank will convert before you confirm.
Can I pay for the Cambodia eVisa in Australian dollars?
Our charge is in USD on the merchant side, but your bank converts to AUD at the day rate and that AUD figure is what shows on your statement. Both the USD price ($80 USD Tourist, $90 USD Business) and the AUD equivalent (~$122 AUD Tourist, ~$137 AUD Business as of June 2026) are shown side-by-side at checkout. The Reserve Bank of Australia publishes the daily reference rate if you want to double-check the conversion looks right.
Why was my Australian credit card declined?
Almost certainly one of five reasons, in rank order: (1) the card is not authorised for international online transactions — most Aussie cards ship with this disabled, (2) your bank's fraud engine flagged the foreign USD charge for verification, (3) insufficient available balance because a temporary USD authorisation hold is sitting on your funds, (4) the card has expired, or (5) the billing address you entered does not match what is on file with the bank. The first two account for around 80% of declines.
How do I get my Australian bank to authorise the international transaction?
Call the 24/7 number on the back of your card and ask them to authorise international online transactions (sometimes phrased as "international purchases" or "overseas e-commerce") on that card. NAB, ANZ, Westpac, CBA, ING, Macquarie and Bankwest all process this over the phone in under five minutes. Then retry the payment from the same browser — there is no extra fee from us on the second attempt.
Is there an FX fee from my Aussie bank on the Cambodia eVisa?
Usually yes — most Australian credit cards charge 1.5% to 3% on USD transactions, which works out to roughly $1.80 to $4.10 AUD on top of the visa price. A handful of cards avoid it entirely: Wise debit, Up Bank, ING Orange Everyday (international fee waiver toggled on), 28 Degrees Platinum Mastercard, Bankwest Zero Platinum, and HSBC Everyday Global. We cannot waive the FX fee — it is between you and your bank, not us.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind about the Cambodia visa?
Yes, if your application has not yet been submitted to Cambodian Immigration — full refund within 5 business days to the original payment method. Once we have lodged the application with Immigration, the fee has been paid forward to the Cambodian government and a refund is no longer possible. If Immigration rejects the application, we resubmit free of charge inside the same case file, so a refund is not needed.

Yes, and it is common — parents paying for their adult children, one traveller covering a group, or a corporate card paying for an employee. At the payment step, enter YOUR card details and YOUR billing address. The application itself uses the traveller's name, passport, and photo — that is the identity Cambodian Immigration checks at the border. The payer's details never appear on the visa.
Does PayPal work for the Cambodia eVisa from Australia?
Yes, PayPal is one of the six accepted payment methods. It is also the cleanest fallback when a card itself keeps declining, because PayPal handles the merchant-side fraud signature differently to a raw card-number entry. The only thing to watch is PayPal's own FX margin on the USD-to-AUD conversion, which sits at around 3-4% — slightly higher than the typical card FX fee. An AUD-funded PayPal balance avoids that margin if you have one pre-loaded.
