The tourist visa gives you 30 days. The business visa starts at 30 days but can be extended in Cambodia for up to 12 months — including a 90-day extension. If you know you are staying longer than a month, apply for the business visa from the start.

No — the tourist visa is hard-capped at 30 days. If you need longer, leave and re-enter on a new visa, or apply for the business visa from the start and extend in-country.
Once you are in Cambodia, present your passport at an immigration office or through a local agent and request a 90-day extension. The fee is paid in-country and the extension is stamped into your passport.
Daily fines apply from day 31. The fine is collected at exit and increases the longer you overstay. Long overstays can result in deportation and re-entry bans — apply for the right length from the start.
The eVisa issues the initial 30 days. The 90-day stay is reached by applying for the business visa and extending it once inside Cambodia. The total stay is the same as if a 90-day visa had been issued upfront.
Not for business visa extensions — they happen in-country. Tourist visas must be exited and re-entered on a new visa if you want another 30 days.
Business visa, with a 6 or 12-month extension once you arrive. It is the only legitimate route for working remotely while based in Cambodia for more than 30 days.
