영국에서 비행기로 오거나, 또는 브리티시 여권으로 세계 어디서든 캄보디아(프놈펜, 시엠리엡 또는 시하누크빌)로 입국하는 경우, 캄보디아 전자 입국카드가 필요합니다. 영국 국민, 이미 비자를 가지고 있는 여행자, 단기 여행자에 대한 면제는 없습니다.

이 카드는 캄보디아의 온라인 입국 신고서입니다. 2024년부터 비행기에서 받던 종이 이민 카드, 건강 양식, 세관 신고서를 대체했습니다. 도착 약 일주일 전에 온라인으로 작성하면 QR 코드를 받게 되고, 도착 시 Immigration에서 해당 코드를 스캔합니다.

비자가 해당되지 않는 이유

This is the point that confuses most British travellers. You apply for a Cambodian eVisa, it is approved, and it seems reasonable to assume you are done. You are not. The visa and the e-Arrival Card are separate documents that do separate jobs.

• The visa is your permission to enter Cambodia. UK passport holders need one for any stay.
• The e-Arrival Card is a declaration about this particular arrival: which flight, which airport, where you are staying, when you are leaving and where you are going next, plus health and customs answers.
• The visa can be arranged weeks in advance. The e-Arrival Card can only be submitted in the 7 days before you land.

Who in your party needs one

Everyone. The card is tied to a passport, not to a booking, so the simple rule is to count the passports. A couple needs two cards. A family of four needs four. There is no joint or family card.

That includes children. Cambodia does not publish a separate rule for infants, and we file a card for every traveller in a party, babies included, because each one travels on their own passport.

When the answer is less clear-cut: land and sea

The e-Arrival Card was built around Cambodia’s international airports. The official system lists three: Techo International (KTI) in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap Angkor International (SAI) and Sihanoukville International (KOS). It does not list land border posts or sea ports.

Travellers crossing overland have reported filling in paper arrival forms at the border instead. Cambodia publishes much less about land and sea arrivals, so if you are coming in that way, confirm the current process for your crossing before you set off. Note that the Thailand–Cambodia land border has been closed since 2025, so British travellers who used to cross from Bangkok by road cannot currently enter that way.
