Do South Korean Citizens Need a Visa for Cambodia in 2026? Incheon to KTI/SAI Guide

Why South Korean travellers also need the Cambodia e-Arrival Card

Even when you hold an approved Cambodia eVisa (or a multi-entry Type E business visa extension), you must still file the Cambodia e-Arrival Card within the 7 days before every flight into Cambodia. The eVisa is your permission to enter; the e-Arrival Card is your arrival, health, and customs declaration.

New in 2026, the e-Arrival form asks for your departure date from Cambodia and your next destination, in addition to your passport details, flight number, and Cambodian hotel address. If you file with us and have not booked onward travel yet, our form lets you say “not booked yet” and we email you to add it later.

When you book your Cambodia arrival card through our service, you can submit your details whenever you book your flight from Korea—even weeks before the 7-day window opens. We hold your application, check every detail against your Korean passport, submit inside the window, and email your QR code. Prices per traveller in USD are $20 Standard (within 24 hours), $35 Rush (within 2 hours), and $60 Super Rush (within 15 minutes), with no photo required.

Flying from Incheon (ICN) or Busan (PUS) in 2026: KTI airport, SAI airport, and the Thailand border closure

South Korean travellers reach Cambodia either on direct non-stop flights from Seoul Incheon (ICN) to Phnom Penh, or on one-stop connections from Incheon and Busan Gimhae (PUS) via Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, Bangkok, or Singapore. Keep these 2026 updates in mind:

• Phnom Penh’s new airport code is KTI: Techo International Airport (KTI) replaced the old Phnom Penh International Airport (PNH) on 9 September 2025 and features automated smart gates for eligible passports.
• Siem Reap uses SAI: Flights for Angkor Wat arrive at Siem Reap Angkor International Airport (SAI).
• Sihanoukville uses KOS: Coastal flights arrive at Sihanoukville International Airport (KOS).
• Which flight number to enter: On a direct flight from Incheon (such as KE689 or OZ739), enter that flight number. On a connecting flight via Vietnam or Bangkok, enter the final flight number that lands in Cambodia.
• Thailand–Cambodia land border closed since 2025: All overland border posts between Thailand and Cambodia (including Poipet) have been closed since 2025, so Korean travellers combining Bangkok and Angkor Wat must fly between Thailand and Cambodia.

Every traveller in a Korean family or tour group needs both their own eVisa and their own e-Arrival Card. We file a card for every traveller in a party, babies included, because each one travels on their own passport.

Already have your visa sorted and want to complete your arrival declaration? You can file your e-Arrival Card now and receive your QR code by email.
