The 2026 Cambodia entry checklist for Filipino tourists

Cambodia is one of the easiest and most rewarding destinations in Southeast Asia for Filipino travellers. Thanks to the ASEAN reciprocal visa-exemption agreement, Philippine passport holders can stay in Cambodia visa-free for up to 30 days (expanded from the historic 21-day allowance). However, both airline check-in counters at Manila NAIA (MNL), Clark (CRK), or Cebu (CEB) and Cambodian Immigration officers at Phnom Penh and Siem Reap check a clear set of entry requirements in 2026.

How the 30-day visa-free stay works for Philippine passport holders (and when you need an eVisa)

When you arrive in Cambodia on an ordinary Philippine passport for a holiday, your 30-day visa-free allowance starts on the day Immigration processes your entry. Keep three practical rules in mind:

• Strictly up to 30 days per entry: Your departure date from Cambodia must fall within 30 days of your arrival date.
• Visa-free entry cannot be extended inside Cambodia: Unlike a paid Tourist eVisa or Business eVisa, the free 30-day ASEAN entry cannot be extended for another 30 days at the Phnom Penh immigration office.
• When to apply for a Cambodia eVisa instead: If you want to stay up to 60 days (30 days initial + 30-day local extension), or if you are visiting Cambodia for business, commercial meetings, or long-term placement, apply online before your trip for a Type T Tourist eVisa ($80 USD) or Type E Business eVisa ($90 USD).
