Cambodia e-Arrival for Aussies on Multi-Country Loops: One Card per Entry
You are doing the Indochina loop — Cambodia, Vietnam, back to Cambodia, then Laos. Each re-entry into Cambodia needs its own e-Arrival Card filed inside the 7-day window before that leg. Here is how the portal remembers your details, what changes each time, and the order to file across the trip.

Does an Aussie doing Cambodia → Vietnam → Cambodia → Laos need multiple e-Arrival Cards?
Yes — one Card per entry into Cambodia. A two-entry loop means two e-Arrival Cards, each filed inside the 7-day window before that specific arrival. The portal remembers your passport on the same login email, so the second submission pre-fills the personal block, but you re-enter the new flight number, arrival date, arrival airport, and accommodation by hand. The visa side is separate: a single-entry eVisa is used up on the first entry, so the second Cambodia entry needs a fresh eVisa or a multiple-entry option. Each e-Arrival Card is $5 USD (~$7.50 AUD) verified through us, with no multi-trip discount on the form itself. The Cards are filed sequentially through the loop, not all at once — the portal rejects submissions more than 7 days before the arrival date. Our verified e-Arrival is delivered as a printable PDF by email, with free resubmission if Immigration flags a correction and Aussie-timezone support across the trip.

Every entry into Cambodia by air needs its own e-Arrival Card, filed inside the 7-day window before that specific arrival. A multi-country loop with two Cambodia entries means two Cards.
The portal remembers your last passport and flight on the same login email — when you return for the second Card, the passport block pre-fills but the flight and date fields are blank for the new leg.
Each Card is $5 USD (~$7.50 AUD) verified through us. The second entry is the same fee as the first; there is no multi-trip discount on the e-Arrival itself.
The visa side is separate from the e-Arrival side. A single-entry eVisa is used up on the first entry; for the return trip into Cambodia you need a fresh eVisa or a multiple-entry option.
File each e-Arrival Card inside the 7-day window before that specific leg — not all at once. The portal does not accept a Card filed more than 7 days ahead of the arrival date.
Our verified e-Arrival is $5 USD (~$7.50 AUD) per Card, delivered as a printable PDF by email, with free resubmission if Immigration flags a correction and Aussie-timezone support for loop bookings.

The order to file e-Arrival Cards across an Indochina loop
Step 1 — File the first Card 5–7 days before initial entry
Step 2 — Travel through Vietnam (or wherever the loop goes)
Step 3 — File the second Card from your hotel WiFi mid-trip
Step 4 — Onward to Laos or wherever the loop ends
اکثر پوچھے گئے سوالات
I am doing Cambodia → Vietnam → Cambodia → Laos. How many e-Arrival Cards do I need?
Two. One Card per Cambodia air entry. The first Card covers your initial arrival into Phnom Penh, Siem Reap or Sihanoukville. The second Card covers your re-entry into Cambodia from Vietnam (assuming the second entry is by air — if you cross back overland via Bavet, the e-Arrival is not triggered). The Laos leg afterwards is not a Cambodia entry, so no third Card is needed unless you fly back into Cambodia from Laos later.
Can I file both e-Arrival Cards before the trip starts?
No. The portal rejects submissions more than 7 days before the listed arrival date. So if your second Cambodia entry is 14 days after your first arrival, the second Card cannot be filed yet at the time of the first arrival — the system will return a date-out-of-window error. The cleanest workflow is to file the first Card a week before initial entry, then file the second from your hotel WiFi mid-trip, roughly a week before the re-entry.
Does the Cambodia e-Arrival portal remember my details across multiple submissions?
Yes, on the same login email. The passport block (number, full legal name, date of birth, nationality) and contact details pre-fill from your previous Card. The flight-specific fields — flight number, arrival date, arrival airport, accommodation — are blank on each new submission and you re-enter them by hand. The customs and health declaration boxes are not pre-ticked. The memory saves about 4–5 minutes per Card across the trip.
Do I need a fresh eVisa for the second entry into Cambodia?
Yes, if your first eVisa was single-entry — which is the default for the tourist eVisa. Single-entry visas are consumed on the first crossing, so the second entry needs a fresh tourist eVisa at $80 USD (~$122 AUD), approved in 3 business days, delivered as a printable PDF by email. The alternative is a business eVisa with the multiple-entry option, suited to travellers in for meetings, conferences, sales calls or supplier visits — but for pure tourism loops, two single-entry tourist eVisas is the cleaner route.
My second Cambodia entry is overland from Vietnam via Bavet. Do I need an e-Arrival Card for that?
No. The e-Arrival Card is currently only required at the three air entry points — KTI, SAI, KOS. Overland entries via Bavet (from Vietnam) or Tropaeng Kreal (from Laos) use a paper arrival card filled at the border post, not the digital e-Arrival. So a loop that exits Cambodia by air and re-enters overland needs only one e-Arrival Card (for the initial air arrival). You still need a valid visa for the overland re-entry — that side is unchanged.

Filing the second Card from offshore WiFi
The portal is accessible from Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, and most countries on standard WiFi. There is no geo-restriction. A hotel WiFi in Hanoi or Vientiane works as well as your home internet in Sydney. If the WiFi is patchy, the mobile-data option through your roaming SIM is the backup.
Each Card is $5 USD (~$7.50 AUD) verified through us, regardless of whether it is your first or second entry on the same loop. There is no multi-trip discount on the e-Arrival itself. What you do save is time, because the portal's memory pre-fills your passport block on the second submission. If you used our verified e-Arrival service for the first Card and want to file the second through us too, the same Aussie-timezone team handles the batch and ensures both Cards reach Immigration cleanly.
Can I file the second Card from a hotel in Vietnam or Laos?
Yes. The portal is accessible from anywhere with standard internet — Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Singapore, anywhere with a stable connection works. There is no geo-restriction on where the Card is filed from. A hotel WiFi in Hanoi, Vientiane or Bangkok is fine. If the WiFi is patchy, your roaming mobile data works as a backup. The submission still needs to be inside the 7-day window before the second Cambodia arrival.
What if my third entry into Cambodia is by air after the Laos leg?
Then you need a third e-Arrival Card, filed inside the 7-day window before that third arrival, with its own QR code. We have processed loops with three Cambodia air entries — Phnom Penh, then back via Ho Chi Minh, then back again via Bangkok. The workflow is the same as the second Card: log in with the same email, the passport block pre-fills, you enter the new flight details and accommodation. Each Card is $5 USD (~$7.50 AUD) and the QR codes land in the same email thread for easy organisation.
Will the same email work for the e-Arrival on a return trip six months later?
Yes. The portal keeps your account details indefinitely as far as we have seen, so a return Aussie traveller logging in six months later finds their passport block still pre-fills. The flight fields are obviously blank for the new trip. If your passport itself has been renewed in the meantime, you re-enter the new passport number; the rest of the personal block needs updating too. The Cambodia eVisa second visit guide covers the broader returning-traveller flow.
