Some travellers buy both, some prepare the e-Arrival themselves.

Below that: these services typically charge only the underlying tariff and then add a separate processing fee, card surcharge, and resubmission fee at the final step — so the headline price is misleading. Our all-in is the full, single number.

No. Each Cambodia eVisa application is processed as its own file with its own underlying government tariff, and there is no volume discount built into the scheme. A family of four pays four times the Tourist fee — $320 USD (~$488 AUD) all-in. Children get the same fee as adults, which is the part Aussie parents are most often surprised by. The one operational benefit is pay-for-others: one cardholder can pay for the whole group in a single checkout, with the card statement showing a single consolidated charge.

No fees from Cambodian Immigration for arriving with an approved eVisa and a valid verified e-Arrival. You hand over the printed eVisa PDF and your passport at the eVisa lane, the officer scans both, and you walk through. No on-the-spot stamp fee, no "processing" charge at the kiosk. The only money you might spend airside is a sticker tax or stamp fee at some land borders if you cross overland, which is well documented and not part of the air-arrival eVisa flow at Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, or Sihanoukville.

Almost always one of three causes. First, your bank's international transaction fee — usually 2.5–3% of the main charge listed separately as "intl txn fee". Second, you bought both the visa and the verified e-Arrival in the same session, which generates two legitimately separate charges ($80 USD / ~$122 AUD plus $5 USD / ~$7.50 AUD). Third, a duplicate attempt because the first checkout timed out or 3D Secure dropped — in which case one of the two charges will fall off automatically inside 7 days, or we can refund it immediately on request with the last four digits of the card.

Outright Cambodian Immigration rejections are rare for Australian passport holders, but if it happens the answer depends on the cause. If Immigration flags a correction — almost always a photo retake or passport scan reshoot — we resubmit free of charge inside the same case file. No second fee from us. If the application is denied outright on a substantive issue, the underlying government tariff is non-refundable (industry-standard across every visa scheme in the region) but we will walk through the remaining options before any second payment is ever requested.
